Ferry transport from Europe to Morocco & back for 4×4’s & trucks

2 to 3 months before the start of the rally, you can book your ferry crossing from Europe to Morocco and back via the organisation. Our crew will be waiting for you in the port, we assist you with embarking and help you take care of border formalities. Simply because it is more fun to travel in group.

Plane ticket from Europe to Morocco

Ryanair, Transavia, Royal Air Maroc, etc. Many airline companies operate daily cheap flights from Europe to Morocco.

Fuel provisioning during the rally (all vehicles)

No need to bring your jerrycans. The fuel price in Morocco (both for diesel and petrol) is much lower than in Europe. The organisation offers good fuel service with good quality petrol straight from the refinery at competitive prices. That way, you are sure to get the best quality fuel, which is not always certain at local fuel stations along the way.  

Drinks

You get as much mineral water as you can drink/carry for free. Coke, wine and ice cold beers however, are a available in the bivouacs at very reasonable prices.

GPS UNIK & Sentinel

El uso del GPS UNIK y del sentinel es obligatorio (sólo para la categoría race). A partir de la edición de 2025 todas las categorías, incluidas motos y quads, cambiarán al más reciente GPS UNIK 4. Estos dispositivos no se pueden comprar, por lo que tendrás que alquilarlos en la ERTF (www.ertf.com).

Satellite Tracking System

Because it’s important that the organisation can -at any moment in time- see where you are on the race track, it’s obligatory to have a tracking system on your vehicle. It also allows your friends & family at home to follow you during the race. This system, is obligatory for every parcipating vehicle on the track. It can be rented via Marlink: more info. For raid participants, the rent is included in the registration fee.

Hotel nights before the start of the rally

During the rally we all camp in beautiful desert bivouacs with all necessary confort (hot showers, European style toilets, large tents for dinner, etc.).

What’s not included are the hotel nights before and during the administrative & technical controls (scruteneering) in Agadir. This is due to the fact that some teams already show up 1, 2, 3 or more days before the start of the event. A night in our 4-star hotel, just next to the bivouac, costs about 65€ per person, in a “superiour room” and in half-board (very good breakfast & dinner buffet included). No need to contact the hotel directly. You can reserve your room 2 months before the start of the rally via our online registration system Competitor Control from februari 2023 onwards.

Satellite phone

Taking a satellite phone with you, is an option for the participants. Since the biggest part of the race takes place in an area without cell phone coverage, a satellite phone on board of every vehicle driving the stages is recommended. Satellite phones can be rented using the link which can be found in the registration system 'Competitor Control.'
